Automatic Driving Lessons

As more and more vehicles are now fitted with automatic transmission, and with more and more options being available on the type, style and price of vehicles many new pupils are opting to learn how to drive an automatic car.

Automatic driving lessons suit pupils who wish to learn more quickly, without the struggle of learning how to control a clutch, worry about rolling backwards on hills or having to think about gear changes.  This means pupils can concentrate on what is going on out on the road!

Lessons are conducted in a relaxed, patient manner, but always with the aim of teaching new skills each time, which will enable you to develop into a good, safe driver quickly.

To pass your driving test you will first need to apply for a provisional licence.  You can do this here:

https://www.gov.uk/apply-first-provisional-driving-licence

You will then need to pass a test of your theory and hazard perception skills and following your training can sit your practical test.

Your theory and practical training work hand in hand and you don't need to wait until you've passed your theory test before you undertake practical driving lessons.
