COVID-19 update to lesson T's & C's
Now that we have been given the go-ahead to re-open from Saturday 4th July I wanted you to be assured we are doing everything possible to keep each other safe, so I have updated some of our T’s & C’s to include the policies and procedures for lessons.
Prior to any lesson commencing, you will be contacted via the usual text reminder, and must respond to the text message to confirm that a) you have not had a recent positive test for COVID-19, b) are not suffering any of the symptoms* associated with COVID-19 and c) have not, to your best knowledge been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 or it’s symptoms*. Once I have received confirmation I will arrive for your lesson at the scheduled time.
All internal and external contact points will be thoroughly sanitised between each lesson and at the start and end of every working day. Anti-bacterial hand sanitiser and wipes will be provided in the car. Prior to the start of each lesson and before you enter the vehicle your temperature will be checked using a contactless, infrared forehead thermometer to ensure no warning is indicated. Face coverings must be worn by all persons in the vehicle for the duration of each lesson, pupils are required to provide their own face coverings. Windows will remain open during lessons to provide a fresh airflow to the vehicle. To the best of your ability, it is requested that pupils pay for lessons using contactless card payment or bank transfer.
Charges will NOT be incurred for cancelled lessons whereby:
The pupil has contacted the instructor prior to the start of the lesson to disclose any the responses in a), b) or c) above
The instructor has been forced to cancel a lesson due to his own disclosure of a), b) or c) above
A pupil’s temperature is checked prior to the start of the lesson and the thermometer indicates any warning which terminates the lesson
Charges WILL be incurred for cancelled lessons whereby:
A pupil fails to return text confirmation, or fails to attempt to make contact prior to the instructors arrival
A pupil refuses a temperature check prior to the start of the lesson
A pupil refuses to wear a face covering
A pupil in anyway presents a deliberate risk to the safety of instructors and other pupils
